As a 501 (C)(3) organization, The ICB Productions Foundation, Inc. (TUHCF) strives to serve communities by seeking to build inclusive community while working with under-served youths throughout the states. TUHCF uses tools of character development to foster hope and change via The Ellison Model (TEM) approach, which ascribes to tenets of loving, sharing, caring, respecting, and honoring, as we work together in pursuit of common goals.
TEM is an approach to community building that uses inclusion as a strategy for eradicating lines of division to ensure equity, fairness, and opportunity for all. It has a sustainable outcome, culture, and social climate that results from individuals’ willingness to be reflective and to make positive adjustments in how they view themselves, others, and the world around them.
In conjunction with The Ellison Model, TUHCF also applies the 7-Step Process (GOMA – ABCD’s), all founded on principles that embrace inclusion, multi-cultural appreciation, mentorship, conflict resolution and relationship building. GOMA is an acronym that stand for goal, objective, method and attitude. It represents a process of inclusive community building that begins with the individual first; viewing conflict as a unitary process. The ABCD’s is an acronym that stands for attitude, behavior, communication and discipline. The ABCD’s is a character development/education program that focuses on the positive development of these traits in an individual/society.
TUHCF engages in interactive programs that demonstrates the preceding Model and principles that allows positive character changes to replace negative and destructive ones. TUHCF has been faithful in its commitment to youths (developing character in the lives of children) for over ten years – conducting summer youth institutes over a span of two to four weeks. The ICB Productions Foundation encourages participation of youths, as well as parents and community at large. Funding pursuits include fundraising, contributions and partnering with organizations with similar missions.
